PG I would say that the Pontifical Academy for Life in its complexity and layering of functions and meanings, sums up most of my cross-cultural experiences: the hybridization with the ethical and political movements, the emergence of psychological problems and intrapersonal , the union with its new science post - Newtonian, particularly today, with the "life science" postgenica.

FL I would like to ask you, with respect to the architectural design of the Pontifical Academy for Life, what factors have been the priority of the project and what impact is expected in the area?
GC addition to the bio-climatic and the use of its green building technologies, a priority of the project was the integration of architecture and places (landscape), a metaphor that involves neo-naturalistic also the relationships between architecture and art. Regarding the relationship between art and landscape, the park not organized a formal design, but is structured and timed with the processuality of living (people, animals, plants) that generates unexpected transformations and not determined a priori. The ongoing project seeks to respond to the stress and relationships with artists, their relations with the environment, with its constraints and potential, and with the public and commissions that define the social structure of the park.
FL What will be the role of PAV in the future about the relationship between art, architecture and evolution of social and cultural spaces?
GC element that can guarantee its future is the original cultural attractions, is its laboratory space, and its landscape in movement that evolves over time and reflects the outcome of the relationships that we build with social groups and the local people of Turin.
